• First, you’ll have to decide on your budget. Look at the price list and see what’s comfortable for you. I’m very easy to work with, if you would rather make payments.
   
• Please provide several clear photos. The more, the better! No Polaroid or camera phone pictures due to lack of detail. No professionally taken photos unless you have written permission from the photographer. Sorry, just being respectful.
   
• You may email the pictures, this is usually fine, but try to make sure they are a decent file size. Hopefully 180-300dpi. Some clients send me a disk full of pictures,
  that’s nice too!
  Also, try to include a description since they may not show accurate coloring of eyes or coat. Sometimes gray cats appear black; yellow may look green, etc. Let me know if a photo is “too bright” or “dark”. Please send as many pictures as you can showing favorite poses and any notes that might help me create a better portrait for you.
   
• When you’re ready and decisions have been made, fill out the Portrait Order Form in the link below. You may submit it online or print and mail it with payment and pictures.
  You can also pay securely and quickly online thru PayPal. We can discuss that if needed.
   
• To secure your order and place on the waiting list, I require an initial payment of 50% but, as I said earlier, I’m cool with smaller installments.
   
• When your portrait is finished, I’ll send you a digital copy for your approval. The original will be sent after I’ve received the balance due.

Each painting is carefully packaged, comes with Portrait Care information, and a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

I highly recommend that you take the entire package to a professional framer. Your portrait is secured on foam board with a protective film over the art to prevent smudging or touching, yet allowing you to see the beauty without worry. It’s then sandwiched with the foam board, and shrink wrapped to protect it further through the shipping process.
   I recommend giving the framer the Care Sheet as well, so he can read my suggestions and know that I really care about the work of art I created for you! Example; I ask that they do not spray the painting with fixative since I have done so already. If a framer sprays more, it can darken and alter the colors of your painting.
   Once it’s framed you’ll have a memorial that will last for generations!
